We are the Seishintei Tea Circle.
We are a local community group based at Seishintei Tea House in Funakoshi Tsutsumi Park, Shimizu, Japan.
Seishintei is a traditional Japanese tea house surrounded by nature.
On clear days, you can see Mt. Fuji from the tatami room.
In spring, the park is filled with beautiful cherry blossoms.
This is not only a place for visitors.
It is also part of our daily life.
Through tea ceremony and kimono experiences,
we share Japanese culture with guests from around the world.
But more than that, we value the spirit of “omotenashi” —
a warm and thoughtful way of welcoming others.
In this blog, we will share small moments from our activities,
the changing seasons in the park,
and stories from Seishintei.
We hope this place becomes special for you, too.
Parkrafts LLC is based in Shizuoka City, with a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji.
We work as public cultural agents to revitalize the local community.
We care for Seishintei Tea House as a precious treasure of the area, and we work to enhance its value so that people from around the world can come to know this special place.
